| Hi my name is Nicholas Eckert. Ever since I have received one of your grow a frogs I have been so amazed. But I believe our frog is a very special one due to the fact that the frog is about 13 years old. We recieved the frog in the mail when I was I about 5 years old and now I am 18. The frog has a good life because we keep it in a 55 gallon fish tank where it gets along with the other members of its community related enviorment. TOP |

| My grow a frog froglet loves to act like a statue. when some ones watching he'll gust move to surfaces, and to eat. She's really funny because wen your not watching she'll swim you'll usually see her. Then she'll see you and act like she's stone. TOP |

| MY OBBSESION WITH FROGS
Frogs! I love any kind of frog there is. I could look at a frog book for hours. I have a collection of them on my shelf. I have over 100 small glass ones and over 50 stuffed frogs. I will get some sort of thing that reminds me of a frog where ever I go. You could try all you want to get me to like something else better but I will refuse. Frogs mean the world to me I can't resist their cuteness! TOP |

| I have two leopard frogs which are very easy to raise and interesting to watch and learn about. They eat farm crickets and meal worms, yes, the kind that's fishing bait. What I find to be most interesting about my frogs are the sounds that they make. When you lightly touch the frogs' back, they'll jump up, and make a "crrrrrkk" sound, in a very deep voice. Also, some times at night, when I am trying to sleep, or when I have headphones on, and am listening to my portable cd player, I will hear this purring type of noise. It is very startling and pretty loud. I enjoy hearing this noise though from my frogs, it reminds me that they are there. Kind of like them saying HI! TOP |

| Dear Sirs:
I just wanted to write and tell you about our frog "Danny". My son ordered his "Grow a Frog" from you 12 1/2 years ago in the summer of 1986. I was first surprised that the tadpole really turned into a frog and then expected it to last about 2 years. Now my son is graduating from college and we still have Danny. He resides in the kitchen in an aquarium and sings to us daily. For about three years he lived with a large goldfish, but Goldie passed on. I'm not sure what the life expectancy is or, for that matter, what the record age is for a "Grow a Frog," but we must be close. I just thought you may want to hear about an incredible success story with one of your "offspring". TOP |

On Feb. 7, 1986, my son received his Grow A Frog. He chose to name her Tad Pole Helm. She successfully grew from a tadpole into a big clawed frog. All these years we have fed and taken meticulous care of her. She continues to be healthy and strong. She lives in an aquarium with a pump system. Currently she is eating Tetra Shrimp Pellets and loves it. Her diet definately agrees with her! I read on a web site that the oldest clawed frog lived to be 15 years old! We are trying to beat the record! |

| I got my Grow A Frog kit for my 8th bithday and 10 years later I still have the original frog. Its been great having a Grow A Frog (Flipper in this case). He talks everyday, and always seems to be looking at me. Friends think I'm strange but this is the best pet I have ever had, and I hope that he is around to beat that 15 year record by many years. | Today, March 9, 1999, is our frog's 14th birthday. His name is X the Frog and he has been a wonderful and easy pet to take care of. We got him as a gift and have enjoyed his company ever since. He even sings every once in a while. We greatly hope that he will be around next year to tie the 15 year record! TOP |

The Story of my frog, Bud! |
| On Dec 25, 1994 I got a grow a frog kit for Christmas. I opened it and read the instructions to get a frog of my own. The day after Christmas my mom sent away for the tadpole. We got him on Feb 25, 1995. He was so cute squirming around the little plastic box. We would feed him these little pellets. Well, it is now May 1999, and he is still going strong. He is in my mom's 4th grade class. The have and are studying tadpoles through their life. We take very good care of him. He lives in a 20 gallon tank for all of his life. He is a happy critter and we love him. I love how he "SINGS" at night. TOP |

| I got my two frogs in the mail and I like them a lot. I named them Fluffy (not related to other Fluffy) and Pouffy. For some reason they always look at me. My mom completely loves them and seems to pet them (she rubs her finger where they are swimming) and my dad thinks they are more a science project than a family member. I think anyone who wants a good pet should get a african clawed frog (I recommend THREE RIVERS of BROOKSVILLE) Well that's all I can say and I hope you enjoyed reading this!!!!!!!!!! TOP |

Hello, Nautique is my 10 yr. old male, best buddy grow a frog. He came to me as a tadpole. He is a survivor. His house fell over in the 1994 Northridge earthquake, dumping 35 gallons of water everywhere. He hopped across the room and hid quietly under the TV which was face down on the floor until the sun came up. When I found him I actually saw him hop 3' as I was frantically trying to get him back into the water. His house now has wheels under it to prevent another spill in this shaky part of the country. Last year, he developed a mysterious dilated eye and grew a big lump under his arm. About 2 week later it all disappeared and he has been fine since. His appetite has never gone away and he will eat right out of my hand. He enjoys slugs, earthworms, freeze dried tubiflex worms, liver, guppies and goldfish. I imagine he will eat anything. (including up to the first knuckle of my finger) Supra the baby froglet just arrived here last week. He/she is in the baby tank and will keep Nautique company later this fall when large enough to keep out of his mouth. I have truly enjoyed all my years of having grow-a-frogs....it been since 1986! | Hello,
I received my 3 little tadpoles in the mail. They got here just fine. I loved watching them turn into little frogs. Then I lost one, don't understand what happened. I was very sad. But, the lifetime guarantee is wonderful, I contacted them, and they replaced my lost with a small froglet (as I requested). He is doing great and has joined the other two. I enjoy them so much I even placed an order for another small froglet and also a "white" froglet. They are all growing and getting fat and sassy. I love all frogs. So much so, that I have several green tree frogs and two "white's" tree frogs. I also have a "pac" frog, an asian long toe frog, and I even have some newts and a mandarin salamander. They all live together in a large aquarium with a waterfall, and dry land area. That is all but the smaller babies, until they get larger, then they can join the group. I even have two dwarf af. claw frogs (adult) in the pond below the water fall, they love it and are growing. They all sing in the evening and early morning. I love to hear them. Since I live in Alaska, I don't get to hear frogs singing outside, like when I was a small child, I miss that, and these guys remind me of home. I love them as I have said, and as time goes by, will add more to my collection. Thanks for taking the time to read this. TOP |

| Hello,
I just got my Grow-a-frog a few days ago and I am so amazed! In the little hand book it said, "Your Grow-a-frog will become part of your family right away". At first I thought that was pretty funny, but now I see what you mean it does become part of your family. My mom and dad love my grow a frog and so does my best friend! I truly nominate the grow a frog as the best pet you can have. TOP |

Our Frog Robert My Sister received a Grow a Frog for her 7th birthday in 1985. Robert has been a part of family ever since! He is much bigger than the half dollar size that is advertised and he's lived much longer than we ever thought. Ever since he started on Stage 2 food, we've been finger feeding him often resulting in a frog attached to my finger up to the first knuckle! He's been great and is always interesting to watch. I hope he remains a part of our family for a long time! |
| Kaela O. From Arizona |
| I love my frog Fiona! When we received her, she was a tiny little frog. Now, she's bigger then an adult's hand! She does some really sweet things, and loves to watch people as they walk by her tank! I received her on February 14, 1998, a perfect Valentine's Day gift! She does some pretty funny things! Some days, she will push away the other frog she is housed with, just to get more food! She is quite a character, and I'm very happy that I got her! I love african clawed frogs, they really are the greatest creature! |

| I have a friend named Kaela. She LOVES frogs!! She has frog posters, frog pens and pencils, frog T-shirts, frog pictures and stories she has written and drawn and frogs themselves!!! One of MY favorite memories of playing with frogs, was when we were hiking. It started raining and we were miserable!! After the rain got so strong I couldn't look ahead or up, I looked at my feet. When I looked down I saw tons and tons of baby frogs. They were so cute, I wish I could of taken one home!! |

| I'm pretty new and it's been a month and my tadpole is officially a frog ... I go on vacation and when I came back my brother dropped my grow a frog food on the floor (when I'm on vacation (me and my mom)) me dog almost got the clap hands magic powder.. and I only have fly flavored food nuggets and the tank is beyond filthy. It took me forever to clean the tank I wasted so much bottled spring water cause the water crystals we think my dog got and after I finally clean it...... I am ready to retransfer with a rather medium spoon and when almost there WHOOSH ITS A BIRD ITS A PLANE NO IT'S A FROG!!!! he jumps onto my keyboard then I was gonna scoop him into my hands then WHOOSH he jumps and gets a 10.0 onto the floor and I scoop him then right when he's almost in the tadpool he jumps onto my computer (not my monitor. I have a flat computer that's not pointing up) I scoop him then I put him in the tadpool. I say to my self (oh my god I hope I didn't hurt it) so I do the spoon again and success - thank god they last on land longer then fish... he has no injuries and this just happened 10 minutes ago (right now is 3:41 PM pacific and the date is Jan 18 ,2000) I haven't found my moral and I know there's always a moral please reply to Pokemon_Keeper@yahoo.com and tell me what do you think the moral is? thank you Top |

| I've been raising grow a frogs since I was 12 (I'm now 24.) I have all new frogs now and enjoy having them. They have a 39 gallon tank
that they share with a gold fish and a sucker fish. I started getting them again in 1997 so now some are over 2 years or
a little less. So now [I have] 5 frogs and I'm ordering more - I like them so much. I have a albino frog and she grew larger then all the others and
they're pretty big - she grew up to almost 6 inches. Let me put this way... 3 of my frogs can hide under her.... At night they croak and it calms me down after a hard day. I also have to say that raising tadpoles is really interesting, it makes you want to order more and more, which is what I'm doing. Well, for you people who just got them or you're thinking about it, I thought I would shed some light on the topic and tell you they're a great investment. |

| My family and I would like to inform you and all frog lovers of our pet frog, Ralph. For my second birthday I received Ralph as a gift from a close family friend. We never believed Ralph would grow to such a ripe old age, but believe it or not, he is almost 18 years old. After researching, we have not been able to find a grow-a-frog frog ever reaching this age. Ralph has endured many hardships throughout his years, including the death of his dear brother, a move when he was six years old, he ate a plastic tree that was in his tank, and for many years, he lived in a very small plastic tank (he now lives in a mansion - only the best for the record holding frog). So, my family and I want to thank Grow-A-Frog for this great gift and hope more frog lovers buy tadpoles and raise them to frogs. I know my family, friends, and I can't wait to celebrate Ralph's 18th birthday and my 20th!!!! |

| I find that African Clawed Frogs are extremely fun. I have had mine for five years. His name is Thomas and he's a full grown frog and very entertaining. I got him when I was 5 years old. He was about 1 and a half inches. I got 2, actually, one was very injured. It was missing a eye. I tried to nurse it back to health, but it went nuts and died from crashing into a wall. Thomas I returned and I went back to get him once he was gone I missed him too much to enjoy a day, when I went back the store owner had said he escaped for 2 weeks, but was found with nothing wrong. When I got home the next day my mother found him down stairs in front of the TV with my dog watching Opera. He got down there from my dog. He was gentle enough to put him in his mouth and carry him down stairs. My mom found him and put him back in his tank. He had 2 broken toes although he was completely healed in 3 weeks. I still have my frog today. He is alive and well, he hasn't escaped in 2 years. I am still having a great time raising him. I highly recommend you to get this type of frog if you're going to get a frog. |

We made it! Yesterday, March 9, 2000, our Grow-A-Frog, named X the Frog, turned 15! He's still doing wonderfully. X has been the easiest pet to take care of. We got him as a gift in 1985 and have enjoyed his company ever since. He still even sings! Hopefully he'll break the record and keep on living for years to come! |

| Hi, My Grow a Frog, Gilly, is 6 years old and we've had quite a few experiences with him. Gilly was not a tadpole when we got him but a small frog. Now Gilly is bigger than we ever expected. One time Gilly got out of his tank which is on a sill between kitchen and the dining room. Gilly hopped all the way down the stairs into our family room, across the family room, and to the door. My mom was folding clothes very early in the morning and heard a bagging on the door. She looked at the door and there was Gilly knocking on the door like he was trying to get out. She had to call the neighbor to get Gilly back in the tank and now we have a crabbing trap over top of the tank. Gilly was very cut up and was bleeding, but within a week he recovered. One other time when my parents were changing Gilly's water he hopped out went behind the microwave where a mouse trap was. My parents heard SNAP, and immediately my mom thought he was dead. My dad looked back there and Gilly was still hopping around. We all love Gilly. We thought he was pretty old until we found this site. We hope Gilly will be with us for years to come. |

| My name is Stacey Berg I am 23 years old. My stepdad got me a grow a frog when I was eight years old. He came in the mail as a tiny tadpole. I named him Ribbit. I have moved many times and Ribbit has always been there. He has flown with me on planes, he traveled across five states in a U haul. He always sings his beautiful songs all night long, (when my grandmother comes to visit she makes me move him into another room, because he is so loud). Today I am married with a daughter of my own. Ribbit is now 15 years old!!!!! He still sings us to sleep every night and he is hours of amazement to my 1 1/2 year old daughter. He is just amazing to everybody. I love him very much and I recommend a frog friend to anyone. I think Ribbit is absolutely the coolest frog and I have wanted a chance to tell people about my
Grow-a-Frog Ribbit, who is now 15 years old. THANK YOU, STACEY |

Tiny is a great frog, and we just bought him a brand new tank. He loves it, and was "singing" already in it. All my other cousins have frogs too. One of my cousins lost a frog when it jumped out of the tiny little hole in the Stage-One tank. Don't know how that happened, but he got out. But now she has another one and it is doing fine. But the grow-frogs are truly GREAT pets to have around. They can always keep you smiling. |

I got my "Grow-a-Frog" kit as a birthday present from my Aunt and Uncle for my 8th birthday. The tadpole arrived during the early months of 1989. I've had to suffered listening to the same lame "So, when are we having frog legs?" joke from my family for the past eleven years. My best friend & neighbor also got a frog from your company, but mine has outlived his by about eight years. I think that's because we keep our frog in the kitchen (where he gets attention) while my friend kept his frog in his bedroom (where it would be overlooked). Matty lays a bunch of eggs in her cage after just about every cleaning. By the end of the day, she'll have eaten them up. Last summer, I bought Matty a new cage: it was more shallow, but it had more length & width. I did this since Clawed frogs like a large area of shallow water to swim in. Well, one night, we didn't latch the lid securely, and Matty got out. I don't know how long she was out of her cage, but when we went down to feed Whiskers (my cat), guess where we found her. Matty was in the cat's water bowl! I've almost completed my freshmen year at college, but pets aren't allowed here in the dorm so Matty is kept at home. But with the way Matty is, she'll most likely be waiting for me when I Graduate! |

| When I got my tadpole in the mail, I put it right in the stage one tadpool. When I left for school the next day, he was somehow in my fish tank, which was right next to the tadpool. I presume that he jumped over, because he did have legs at the time when I got him. Or maybe my brother played a trick on me and put him in there on purpose, I really don't know but that's what I would like to believe. But Dan is okay now and he has been alive for 8 years now. |
